Hi! I’m a director, creative producer, and educator based in Los Angeles, with proud roots in Seattle and Minnesota.

As a director, I’m inspired by:

• Stories that intersect identities, that concurrently investigate past, present and future, and that expand our collective humanity.
• Collaborators who are ready to play, respectfully cross into each other’s lanes, and create through joyful collective imagination.
• Actors who dig deep into the text, build characters from a foundation of authenticity, and show up generously for themselves and each other.

As a producer, my creativity is lit by:

• Artists with expansive visions, ready to push the envelope and dance in the grey zone of the unknown.
• Building a culture of care, respect and mutual admiration where every individual has what they need to thrive.
• Bringing projects to their fullest potential while staying aligned within designated resources.

As an educator, my heart soars when I:

• Teach in communities that have not historically had access to formal theater training or permission to see themselves as artists.
• Cultivate a balance of rigor of craft, paired with inclusive practices for every student to show up fully as themselves.
• Mentor the future generations of the industry, demystifying pathways to a career in the arts.

Other things I love in life:

• Laughing until your face hurts and you forget what you were even laughing out to begin with…
• Quality time with friends and family – I’m a true extrovert aka I refuel surrounded by people.
• Women’s sports (forever aspiring to be as cool as Sue Bird??!!)
• Chasing sunsets – you never know when those pink streaks will appear across the sky ❤
• Spreadsheets, because a #Virgo must #Virgo.
• Pizza. End of thought.
